Toddlers need safe space to run around and Lisbon center restaurants are small and busy. Try outdoor dining on traffic-free Rua Augusta, the delightful plaza off Rua Garrett (Chiado) and nearby outdoor restaurants in spacious Largo do Carmo(top of Sta Justa Elevator). Some Lisbon's parks have outdoor attractive cafes. Good food and lovely places to eat with kids - hot steak sandwiches and home-made burgers/salads. My favorites for food and garden are INSIDER secret Campo Martires de Patria plus Principe Real. Major Lisbon-Attractions have restaurants with terraces - Gulbenkian Museum has large restaurant/gardens and Belem hidden treasure are the rooftop gardens and cafe with olive trees amazing views. Belem also has parkside terrace restaurants with Portuguese Food, Brazilian and fast food. Eat any time at Lisbon beaches with lots of space for little ones and a trendy atmosphere for teenagers.
