The Sintra National Park is a vast area of woodland and amazing rock formations - high above the Lisbon Coast.
A River in Paredes de Coura - A waterfall and a tranquil safe place to swim. The Lovely warm weather in Portugal 2009 with temperatures around 28C means opportunities to swim until at least mid October.

The majority of people live in the Cities around Lisbon and Porto. these cities have tremendous character. Porto is serious and hardworking. Lisbon is relaxed open and feminine. Above all it is a city with a tremendous atmosphere. Full of wonderful details. The old districts are full of life and beautiful old houses often decorated with lovely characterful Lisbon Tiles. The streets of Lisbon with their trams and old fashioned shops are fascinating and curious. It seems as if the city was created to enjoy life.
